Three Big Problems Every Network Marketer Has
There’s a common theme around all network marketing companies – it’s not easy to find success as a network marketer!
If you’ve been a network marketer for any length of time, with any amounts of success, you’ll agree… it’s not easy!
And if you’re new to network marketing, you’ve seen the potential and the rewards of succeeding in network marketing and that’s why you joined and became a network marketer.
If you look at any network marketing company, there is only a small percentage of people who are succeeding in that company. And a very large percentage who are not.
But, let’s be fair and honest here… we all know that the majority of people who sign up don’t put in the work that is necessary to succeed. This may be because they simply don’t have the time, they don’t have the knowledge, or they don’t have the ambition or the right mindset.
Regardless of why people don’t find success as a network marketer, we can all agree that we know network marketing can and does work.
We have seen others who have found success. Which is likely why we joined in the first place. The person recruiting us was
making some money and we wanted to be a part of that success.
But success never comes without work. And often times, a lot of work!
As a network marketer, you need an advantage in order to succeed. And I’m going to share with you the perfect way to get that advantage to help you find success with your online business.
Because it’s not easy as a network marketer. There are three big things that stand in our way right from the start that we have to get around…
If you’ve tried to recruit people to your network marketing company, you already know it can be challenging.
Especially if you’re just starting out!
Here are the three things every network marketer faces:
1. You Need an Audience
The first problem you will face is that you need an audience. This is a challenge for every single network marketer who is trying to succeed. And unless you already have a lot of money to spend on advertising, this is a big issue!
It’s not easy to get the word out about your opportunity and convince people to join.
So what do you do?
Years ago, network marketers would often be encouraged to talk to their friends and family or go to shopping centers and talk to everyone they could and invite people to a home party or a conference room demonstration.
That’s hard work!
Today, most companies will tell you to message your friends and family on Facebook, start a conversation, then subtly
mention your business opportunity and invite them to watch a video or join a conference call or presentation.
Sound familiar?
While some people may find some success doing this, hitting up your friends and family on social media presents another problem…
2. Negative association
More than likely, everyone you already know has received that Facebook message from someone they know (or even from people they don’t know) asking if they’d be interested in watching a video about an opportunity to make money.
You likely have too!
Before you’ve even started, you are already at a disadvantage!
People already know they’re about to get a pitch for some type of money making opportunity.
And there are always bad marketers out there who ruin it for the rest of us. They’re overly sales-y, aggressive, and will often lie just to make a sale.
More than likely you’ve come across people like this. And sadly, it’s a much bigger percentage of network marketers than it should be. And marketers in general.
That makes it difficult for you and I to even talk to friends or family, or a cold lead, simply because they already have a negative association in their mind of where the conversation is going.
That’s not a good place to work from.
posting about your results, what you’re learning, or something similar because it sparks curiosity. Then, the people who are actually interested will reach out to you.
This gives you a much better chance at having a positive, productive conversation that might actually lead to a sale.
3. Intimidation
Joining a Network Marketing company is intimidating!
It’s an investment, there’s no guarantee of success, there’s so much to learn, there’s a lot at stake, etc. etc.
A lot of network marketing opportunities come with a big initial investment to join and monthly fees.
This often makes it difficult for someone to take the leap and join because if they know they aren’t in a good place to succeed already, then fear kicks in and they become unsure if they can succeed.
This is even worse for the person who is already trying to support a family or has a large amount of bills or they lost their job and are unsure when their next paycheck will arrive.
That’s a lot of pressure!
I spent over ten years waiting to take the leap and join a network marketing opportunity! I knew it could work. I’ve seen it work for other people.
The first time I heard about network marketing, I was on a scuba diving trip in 2001. I met a man who came along on the trip who was a part of a network marketing company that sold indoor air purifier machines, of all things. I thought it was crazy that he could actually be making a living doing this, but he was! He even had a fancy car that the company gave him for the success he had.
But it was my grandfather who really impressed my socks off.
After years in the Air Force, he became a builder. He spent most of his life building houses for people. When he finally retired, he joined a network marketing company that sold electricity discounts, called Ambit Energy.
He made over $300,000 with Ambit Energy after he had already retired!
He was a classic entrepreneur who could talk to anyone and everyone. He still had rental properties and knew people in the industry, so he was able to sign people up to save money on their electricity bills. The niche was perfect for him.
It’s a great company to save money on your electricity each month as well!

For you, it might depend on what your network marketing company is and how expensive it is.

Also, how you handle the first stack is up to you as well.
There are two options for the first stack and I would encourage you to try both to see which works best for you.
1. Create a free “lead magnet” that will get people on your email list. You will typically want this to be targeted to people who are interested in and looking for online business
opportunities.
This could be a pdf guide or checklist about succeeding online with social media, youtube, or other advise that your audience might be interested in… anything that you could give away for free that your target audience would be willing to sign up for.

While it’s still great to have an email list of people in your targeted audience, you still won’t want to promote your network marketing company to this list. You’ll want to promote your first low priced stack to these people.

You also know that they are going to trust you more now that they have already made a purchase from your recommendation and you will be able to establish a relationship with them to help them succeed at the next level.
2. The other first stack option is to promote the low priced offer directly.
This can be a good option if you are not keen on building a big email list and want to strictly promote and invest your time and energy into people you already know are willing to spend money to invest in their future.
Either option can be a good option and I would encourage you to try both to see which works best for you.
Does Affiliate Stacking Work?
In short, yes. Let’s look again at the three big problems network marketers face that we mentioned earlier and see how Affiliate Stacking solves each problem.

You’ve made the connection, you’ve established the trust, now you can show them how.
How do I know what stacks to create?
You can set up your stacks however you want and even try different stacks to see what works best for you and for your niche.
However, in the next chapter, I will show you what I consider to be the perfect stack that you can also use and benefit from.
But, let’s try to walk through an example…
Let’s imagine you joined the Doterra network marketing company that sells Essential Oils and you are looking to sell people essential oils and get them to join Doterra under you.
Perhaps your first stack might be a free pdf guide or checklist for using Essential Oils safely or a pdf guide to the best Essential Oils to increase your happiness and productivity.
Of course, you will have to create this guide or checklist, but it’s a free resource, so as long as you’re creating value, people will appreciate it.
If it’s easier for you to have someone else create this for you, you could find a writer on Fiverr to help you write and/or
create the pdf guide.
A good alternative and/or your second stack could be the Natural Family Living Essential Oils Masterclass which is a free
viewing and will lead to sales.
Once you know who has made a purchase from there, you know they are your target audience. They are interested in Essential Oils and are likely to want to learn where to buy them and may want to sell them as well!
Regardless of your niche, there is likely a perfect solution for your stacks.
